Windsurfing Across the Sea?

I think we are going quite far out now boys, but I might aswell get in on the action, what Im talking about would entirely depend on one natural source though…. the wind.
I love windsurfing but I must admit all it takes is for you to lose a bit of wind and all your momentum [...]

Jet Ski

I quite like this discussing new ideas, I don’t think Water Skiing would exactly be comfortable Ryan no, although it is good fun, you always get someone though who wants to try something way above their skill set, and they get badly hurt.
I have enjoyed the pleasure of a jet ski in the past and [...]

Sea Travel, In Style

While we are on the subject of bringing up new ideas, I wonder if anyone has ever actually crossed a sea or Channel by going waterskiing, if you think about it though, it would probably be the most uncomfortable and long trip you would ever take, no chance to relax at all, just standing up [...]

More Ideas for Sea Travel

I agree Ryan, Samanthas idea could be a multi million pound idea and she may not realise it, I see the point about the port holes though, I myself would love to spend a nice week on a true catamaran, like the one Kevin Costner used in Waterworld, it would be great to be in [...]

So Far

So far we have talked about a couple different ways of sea travel, Samantha has even got an idea I think which could go very far, but I think an ambitious investor would have to buy into the idea of a submarine hotel, it would cost a good few billion to do the research testing and construction of  [...]

Would you travel by submarine?

When you think of sea travel, I bet people think of ships, boats, ferries, ocean liners, mailbe a sail boat or yaght – but not a submarine!
There are 195 countries in the world, and most of them will have a Navy of one sort or another (although not all will), and each of these will [...]

The World is covered by the Sea

With the the cheap flights available on various air travel companies, most people in the UK pack a suitcase and pop over to somewhere sunny for a relaxing week away. But who would think to sail there? I certainly would!
The sea covers approximately 71% of the Earth’s surface, yet it wouldn’t occur to most people [...]

Catamaran

The catamaran is a fast way of crossing the English Channel, or even the Irish Sea, which is what I got one for, it was called the Sea Cat and it was very fast and luxurious, we got it from Hollyhead to Dublin which was a beautiful route, the cool breeze (gust) while being on [...]

Kayak

Among the many ways of travelling across the sea, there is the highly unrecommended means of  a kayak, it a short boat which is another form of a canoe, with the waves and movement of the water I would be very suprised if you were able to survive a crossing in a kayak.
You would have [...]

Ferry Trips

I have done a variety of Ferry trips so far but the one I have been on the most is from Portsmouth to St Malo with Brittany Ferries, the Ferry leaves Portsmouth at around 2030 and arrives in St Malo at 0815ish, so it is an overnight trip.
Depending on the cabins you choose they are [...]
